- 1When creating groups for Karnaugh maps ensure to always make the largest groups possible: 2,4 or 8 This is because this will make the resulting equation/answer much more accurate and in its simplest form.When creating groups for Karnaugh Maps you can overlap groups but also create groups with the corner values.
- 2When assigning true or false to a value in a Karnaugh Map ensure it is always true or always false before making the decision it is either of those. If it is both true and false it does cancel out and shouldn’t be included in the statement.When creating complex logic gates always just simplify what the question is asking you to do and put the answer in the simplest form.
