Leadership The inspiration, rule and guidance of others in pursuit of agree objectives.
Management Planning, organisation and controlling of all or part of the business

Figurehead Represent their colleagues. They carry out social, ceremonial and legal responsibilities and are expected to be a source of inspiration. Figureheads are considered to have authority.
Leader A leader creates and maintains an effective working environment and motivates and develops more junior employees. In this role employees manage the performance and responsibilities of everyone in their team.
Liaison In this role managers must communicate with internal and external contacts. They need to network effectively to gather information.

Disseminator Where you communicate
Spokesperson Speak for their organization
Entrepreneur Generate ideas, solve problems
Disturbance Handle Take charge and attempt to solve disputes
Resource Allocator Organize resourcers
Negotiator Always have to negotiate
