Proactive Interference When old information messes with new information. Ex: Calling your present mate your past mates name.
Retroactive Inference When new info messes with old info. Ex: Getting a new bus number yet, forgetting your old one.
State Dependent Memory Whatever is learned in a certain state will be remembered better once in the original state. Ex: Learning about cats when depressed 3 years ago. You get depressed again and you know all about cats.
Eidetic Memory (Photographic Memory) Ability to remember certain visual images in greater detail.
Confabulation Disturbance of memory; Adding in detail that wasn't there.
