Reliability How consistent Findings are. Can the study be replicated easily? Does it have a Standardised Procedure?
Validity Whether the findings are true. Is there any bias?
Ecological Validity Is the study comparable to what could happen in real life?
Internal Validity Does the study prove that the IV affects the DV? Is there a cause and effect?
Demand Characteristics Things that participants do differently when taking part in an experiment because they know they are a part of one.
Objectivity/Subjectivity Whether the results are open to interpretation.
Qualitative Data Data measured by quality (Subjective)
Quantitative Data Data measured numerically (Objective)
Generalisability Whether you can apply the results to the general population. How large and diverse is the sample?
Ethics Whether the study follows the BPS Criteria of ethics.
Androcentric Concerned with or Biased for only Men
Gynocentric Concerned with or Biased for only Women
