| What do neurons contain? | A neuron contains all the features of an animal cell including a cell membrane, nucleus and cytoplasm |
| What does the cell body contain and what does it do? | The cell membrane contains a nucleus which is the main control centre of a cell. |
| What do dendrites do? | Dendrites branch out from the cell body and receive messages from other nerve cell that are sent to the cell body |

| What is motor neuron function? | The main purpose of motor neurons is to carry messages from the CNS to the effectors. |
| What are effectors and what is its main purpose | Effectors are muscles or glands that translate the message into action |
| What's the main purpose of a sensory neuron | Sensory neurons carry messages to the brain and spinal cord from cells in the sense organ such as your eyes or skin. |
