Carved Carving is where material is taken away to create an art form. The technique of cutting from a block of material to shape into a particular form. Materials included are stone, wood, plaster and wax.
Modeled Modelling is the process by which material is shaped and built up, traditionally with clay but can also be done with wet plaster over a wire armature.
Assemblage To construct is to form by assembling or combining parts; to build. An assemblage is a sculpture made by joining together various components of various materials or of the same substance.
Cast Casting is the process of creating a three- dimensional shape by pouring liquid material (molten metal, wax or liquid plaster or plastic) into a mold.
Carved Carving is a reductive sculptural process.
Modelled Modelling is an additive sculptural process.
