Semantic Memory	- Knowledge is shared by everyone, rather than be personal - Related to the function of objects, acceptable behaviours and abstract concepts - Begin as episodic memories - memories lose association with the context
Procedural Memory	- Skills = remembering how to do something rather than the rules in which to do it: you just KNOW - Acquired through repetition - Less aware of these. The attention to the rules disrupts the automatic process
