Use/interaction with the set? . The sand represents time as it is trickled through the fingers - represents an hour glass, this therefore representing the theme of time. . When water is poured down the strips of paper, this gives the effect of the faces being projected as ageing. . The dancers swing from the slings - represents the pendulum from a clock. . When the paper screen is ripped away to show the legs, this ensures that the audiences' focus is on the legs.

Accompaniment in 'Time Flies'? . Regular 4 beat. . An electric guitar plays the melody line which repeats. . An urgency is built with faster notes and harsher electronic sounds and this matches the high speed dynamics and high powered contact work. . Gestures from the overture are repeated however, they are rushed and performed as if they need to be complete by the end of the music.
