- 1Define spreadsheet:An application that can store all its data in a single file. The file is called a 'workbook'.
- 2Define a Workbook:Is made up of more 'worksheets'. A worksheet is a single tab in the spreadsheet workbook.
- 3Give an example of a spreadsheet application:Excel.
- 4Define labels:Any text in a cell that describing the data in a row or column (titles, headings that identify data).
- 5Define Data:Any values (text or numbers) that are entered for the use of calculation.
- 6Define Formulas and Functions:Mathematical calculations carries out automatically.
- 7A cell reference must always:-Start with a letter.
-End with a number.
-E.g. A5, H34, S13 etc. - 8Name 5 data types that can be entered into a cell:-Currency

-Percentage
-Text
-Number - 9Properties of a formula:-Must start with an '='
-They perform calculations on cell contents.
-They appear in the formula bar.
-The result of a formula is automatically recalculated every time the data on the spreadsheet changes. - 10When writing formulas...Add = +

-Functions are part of spreadsheet software (specialised calculations) - 12Examples of a function:SUM, COUNT, AVERAGE, MIN, MAX, IF.
