Attachment Theory- Secure attachment Adult- Easy to get close to others, don't worry about being abandoned often Caregiver- Successfully formed a secure parental attachment bond to the child
Attachment Theory- Ambivalent/ Resistant Adult- Others don't get as close as they would like and can scare people away Caregiver- Inconsistent between appropriate and neglectful responses
Attachment Theory- Avoidant Adult-uncomfortable being close to others Caregiver- Little to no response to a distressed child
Attachment Theory - Disorganized Child- contradictory behavior ( approaching someone with back turned) Caregiver- Role confusion, communication errors
