| Additional members system: advantages | -System is proportional so the votes are less likely to be wasted -Strong link with MP and constituents because you'll have only one MP -Voters have two choices -Minor parties do better (can be a disadvantages because of the BNP and Greens) |
| Additional members system: Disadvantages | -Can weaken the link between voters because you have MP's without constituency responsibility. -Parties have control over party lists used to elect additional members |
