Jose Pavel Moriera CS1 10 English 7 cards

Cards in this deck (7)

  1. 1What is a high level language? It is a code the supposedly has
    perceive by humans
  2. 2What is a low level language?is designed to be understand CPU.
  3. 3What is the purpose of a translator? The purpose of a translate is programing into the machine code when it is excuted and, that is the CPU can process it.
  4. 4Translators (Compiler and Interpreter)Compilers convert high-level language code to machine (object) code in one session, can take a while, because they have to translate high-level code to lower-level machine language all at once and then save the executable object code to memory, compiler creates machine code that runs on a processor with a specific Instruction Set Architecture (ISA), which is processor-dependent.
Interpreter is used to translate the high level code into low level code, and have usefulness in areas where speed doesn’t matter (e.g., debugging and training) and it is possible to take the entire interpreter and use it on another ISA, which makes it more portable than a compiler when working between hardware architectures, and so instructions on how to build an interpreter can be found on the web (e.g. Python, Ruby, Perl, and PHP.)
  5. 5Run Time Environment1.Allows you to run your code quickly so that you can test to see that it works.
This is used during iterative testing (Testing when you are developing the program).
2.In computer programming, a runtime system, also called runtime environment, primarily implements portions of an execution model. This is not to be confused with the runtime lifecycle phase of a program, during which the runtime system is in operation.
    3. As soon as a software program is executed, it is in a runtime state. In this state, the program can send instructions to the computer's processor and access the computer's memory (RAM) and other system resources.
  6. 6EditorThe color codes commands words, auto indents code, some also autocomplete code as you type it. And continuo, the editor program designed specifically for editing source code of computer programs. It may be a standalone application or it may be built into an integrated development environment or web browser.
  7. 7Error DiagnosticsUsed to debug your code. It locates errors and suggests ways in which to fix it. Information that is presented following the detection of some error condition and is mainly intended to assist in identifying the cause of the error. As an example, consider the compilation and subsequent execution of some program, debugging tools also called 'error diagnostics', so you can find any errors in programs. This is also known as 'debugging a program'.
