Definition of an Integer A whole number that can be either positive or negative e.g +2 and -1
Definition of a Rational Number Is a Real Number that can be written as a fraction and terminates or is recurring e.g. 1/8
Definition of an Irrational Number An Irrational Number is a real number that cannot be written as a simple fraction, and the decimal value does not recur. e.g. pi

The Product of Numbers Numbers multiplied together e.g. 9 x 8
A Difference of two Numbers The Difference is calculated by Subtracting one number from another e.g. 9 - 7
The Quotient of a Number The result of dividing one number by another e.g. 9/3
Definition of a Prime Number An integer greater than 1 whose only factors are 1 and itself
Definition of a Composite Number An integer greater than 1 that isn’t a prime number.
Lowest Common Multiple The lowest (or least) common multiple (LCM) of two or more integers is the smallest positive integer that is a multiple of all of them. For example, the lowest common multiple of 4 and 6 is 12
Highest Common Factor The highest common factor (HCF) of two or more integers is the largest positive number that is a factor of all of them. For example, the highest common factor of 24 and 30 is 6
