About Adjuncts	Adjunction never builds up the tree. It is a procedure which creates more syntactic space, either for the existing elements or for the elements whose role is modification; the elements which are not selected; which do not get a thematic role.

t(trace)	the place where a displaced constituent comes from is marked with ‘t’. Traces get an index to indicate what they are the trace of: the displaced constituent gets the same index.
C-Command	C-command plays a central role in defining and constraining operations such as syntactic movement, binding, and scope. Tanya Reinhart introduced c-command in 1976 as a key component of her theory of anaphora. The term is short for "constituent command".
Finiteness	finite verb is a verb that is inflected for person and number and that is marked for Tense.
