- 16MIDDLE BLOCKERPrimary role is to block the attack of the opposing team, typically the tallest people on the team. They also typically hit faster sets (often called quicks)

- 18OPPOSITE HITTERAKA Right side hitter, in addition to hitting, they set up the block with the middle to defend against the opposing outside hitter
