Flashcards
Lecture 2 - COMP12111

Cards in this deck (13)
- 1What are logic functions? They have binary inputs and outputs. Include AND, OR and NOT.
- 2Boolean Function AND2 inputs and 1 output. Output is true if BOTH inputs are true. Denoted with a dot (.)
- 3Boolean Function OR2 inputs and 1 output. Output is true if either input is true. Denoted with +
- 4Boolean Function NOT1 input and 1 output. If inputs 1, outputs 0. Denoted with bar over variable.
- 5Boolean Function NANDWhich is an AND function followed by a NOT. Inverting an AND function.
- 6Boolean Function NORWhich is an OR followed by a NOT. Inverting an OR function.
- 7Boolean Function XOR (or EXOR)Exclusive OR. If both are true, the output is false. Only true if inputs differ.
- 8—AND logic gate

- 9—OR logic gate

- 10—Exclusive OR logic gate

- 11—Inverter / NOT logic gate

- 12—NAND logic gate

- 13—NOR logic gate
