Vacuole Only in plant cells. Contains a liquid called cell sap, which keeps the cell firm.
Chloroplasts Only in plant cells. Where photosynthesis happens - contains a green substance called chlorophyll.
Cell Wall Only in plant cells. Made of a tough called cellulose, which supports the cell.
Cell Membrane In plant and animal cells. Controls what substances can get in and out the cell. Semi-permeable.
Mitochondria In plant and animal cells. Site of cellular respiration - releases energy.
Cytoplasm In plant and animal cells. Jelly like substance where chemical reactions happen. in plant cells there is a thin lining of this.
