Question Answer
Equality is making sure that every individual is treated the same
In October 2010 the equality law replaced previous legislation to ensure consistency in what employers and employees need to know to create a fair work place.
In the work place we understand that everyone needs to be treated as equals. Diversity brings together different groups in a workplace such as race, religion and sexuality.
Equality means treating everyone the same. For example when interviewing someone for a job age should not matter. It will be the merits and past experiences they need to consider.
