  1. Equality is treating everyone equally and fairly.
    1. Having equality in the workplace removes discrimination in all areas whether verbal or non verbal.
      1. This means not discriminating against people no matter their age, gender or race.
        1. The Equality Act 2010 legally protects people from discrimination in the workplace. It also aims to give equal opportunities for people applying for jobs.
          1. The act makes it unlawful to discriminate against age, disability, pregnancy, race, religion or gender.
