Explain what religious believers mean by 'Authority' (2 mark question) Someone who has power and authority over others. For example the law and those who ensure it is kept. The priest is an authority in the church.
Explain what religious believers mean by 'duty' (2 mark question) Something a person is expected to do, or be because it is part of their job or responsibility. For example it is a Muslims duty to go on pilgrimage to mecca once in their life time.
Explain what religious believers mean by 'human rights' (2 mark question) Something a person is entitled to because they are human. For example a basic human right is the right to good and shelter.
Explain what a religious believer means by 'justice' (2 mark question) Where people are treated fairly without prejudice or discrimination. For example where humans rights are observed.
Explain what religious believers mean by 'personal conviction' (2 mark question) Having a strong beliefs or views about certain issues. For example Martin Luther king believed that black people should have equal rights to white people.
Explain what religious believers mean by 'punishment' (2 mark question) To make a person suffer pain or loss for doing something wrong. For example going to prison for a crime they have committed.
