Question Answer
How do you tell the amount of electrons an element has using the P. table? By which group it is in, e.g group 1 elements have 1 electron on the outer shell but group 0 electrons will have 8 electrons on the outer shell
When are atoms much 'happier'? When they have a full shell of electrons
Why do most atoms want to react? Because most atoms don't have an outer shell
Why is the less reactive group on the periodic table and why? Group 8 because they have a full outer shell of electrons
Which group on the P. table is the most reactive and why? Group 1 because they have the least amount of electrons on the outer shells
