What is ballistics? Ballistics is the study of guns and ammunition.

What is crime scene unit (CSU). Crime scene unit are specialists who collect and bag evidence.
What is DNA. DNA is deoxyribonucleic acid.
What is fibres. Fibres are strands of material such as hair, wool, or polyester.
What is fingerprints. Fingerprints are patterns of ridges and grooves on the fingers and toes.
What is homicide. Homicide is the murder or manslaughter of another human.
What is impressions? Impression is a track marks.
What is negative impressions? Negative impressions are impressions formed by material gathering in recesses, such as a tyre or shoe.
What is non-porous? Non-porous is something that doesn't absorb liquids such as body oils.
What is pathology? Pathology is the study of disease and cause of death.
What is physical evidence. Physical evidence is large pieces of evidence.
What is porous? Porous is something that absorbs liquids such as body oils.
What is positive impressions. Positive impressions are exact images, such as the pattern of a shoe or tyre.
What is tool mark. Tool mark is characteristics mark left by a tool.
What is toxicology. Toxicology is the study of the effects of poisons and chemicals in the body.
What is trace evidence. Trace evidence is microscopic evidence such as fibres or DNA.
