What city is built on the flood plain of the River Clyde? How high is the land on either side of the river? Glasgow - the land is about 5m above sea level.
Where is the river's estuary? 34km west of Glasgow
How wide is the estuary? 3km
Where does the river join and which sea does it eventually become? It joins the Firth of Clyde and becomes the Irish Sea.
