The War-Lord Of The Flies Running theme in the novel. The boys were evacuated from Britain during the war. Their plane crashes on a deserted island and the only adult (the driver) dies in the crash of the airplane.
Relationships-Lord Of The Flies On the island there is either, violence,bullying or death. Jack and Ralph get off to a bad start yet work together to make good friends. Piggy is an outsider and only has Ralph as a friend.
The Island-Lord Of The Flies The island degrades as the story goes on which reflects the boy's relationships.At first the island looks like paradise but it does not stay this way.
The Language-Lord Of The Flies The language used slowly degenerates as the boys have been here a while, they have forgotten how to use the correct grammatical uses for names and words as to how they were when they lived and attended school in England.
