Jews were enslaved by the Egyptians for 430 years.
Moses was a Jew rescued as a baby from the Nile and brought up as a prince.
Moses tried to talk the Pharaoh into freeing the Jews but he did not comply
With the help of God Moses set 10 plagues on Egypt to persuade the Pharaoh
God talked to Moses at a burning bush and told him he was to free the Jews
God helped Moses part the red sea to make way for the Jews and drown the Egyptian soldiers
This method worked at first but then the Pharaoh changed his mind and sent his soldiers after Moses and the Jews
On their way to the Promised Land, Moses and the Jews stopped at Mt Sinai where God gave him the 10 Commandments
