Effort test: The effort test is a common study used to diagnose coronary artery disease. Allows you to see how the heart works during exercise. Stress tests are also referred to as physical exertion tests, exercise tolerance tests, ergometric, and stress electrocardiograms.
Erythrocyte volume: The erythrocyte volume (VE) is determined from the volume of distribution (Vd) and the hematocrit of the extracted blood sample to perform the calculations
Pseudoanemia. : It is said of the false anemia associated with a regular and vigorous aerobic exercise. During exercise, the volume of blood plasma decreases due to sweating, the production of metabolites and the increase in blood pressure.
Thrombus: The thrombus is a blood clot that forms in a vessel and remains there. The embolism is a clot that moves from the site where it formed to another place in the body. The thrombus or embolus can occur in a blood vessel and obstruct the blood flow in that place, preventing the supply of oxygen and blood flow to the surrounding tissues.
Plasma volume: The blood plasma is the liquid portion of the blood in which the formed elements are immersed. It is salty and translucent yellow and is denser than water. The total plasma volume is considered as 40-50 mL / kg body weight.
Gastric reflux: chronic disease that occurs when stomach acid or bile ascends through the esophagus, which irritates its lining. When acid reflux and heartburn happen more than twice a week, they can be a sign of gastroesophageal reflux.
Hypobaric: Hypobaric ambeintes are used in cold weather conditions, are environments where there is pooco oxygen, are places of greater height and are above 2300m
Hyperbaric: it is a resource through which the whole body is subjected to a pressure greater than the environmental one Ambient pressure = 1.4 absolute atmospheres that is considered as the pressure existing at sea level
Ergogenic: is related to the production of physical work within the ergogenic helps can include all those substances, methods, drugs, improve the capacity for the production of physical work in the body of an athlete.
Ergolytic: Certain manipulation improves performance through energy production, it is called ergogenic and if it reduces it ergolytic. Therefore, an ergogenic aid is any substance or phenomenon that improves performance. An ergolytic substance is one that has a detrimental effect on performance.
