1. Control

   • the control is to have all the parameters of some process, machine, etc. (artificial), previously established that can be modified (controlled) resulting in a desired response.
   • the control of any process or system (artificial) depends on the percentage which is being controlled can be automatic or with some semi-automatic human intervention giving as main characteristics in every occasion an input signal and an output signal.

2. Open-Loop and Closed-Loop (Control system)

   • open systems are those where the input is independent of the output so there is no feedback from the system, depending to have a good performance of the user's expertise, always maintaining a linear function in the system.
     • depends on the user

     • independent of the output
     • there is no system feedback
   • closed systems are those where the input is feedback by the output of the system maintaining the desired parameters and reducing the error rate so that it stores to zero

3. Matlab and Simulink

   • engineering tools
     • Matlab is a commonly used tool for quite tedious problems by hand algebraically
     • Simulink is a very useful graphical use interface (GUI) tool for modeling control systems, and simulation their time response to specified inputs

4. other types of classification

   • chaotic systems which, due to small disturbances, can produce large alterations in the system
   • deterministic systems are those that start from an initial condition naturally based on physical laws and scientific theories to achieve an ideal stability
   • stochastic systems start from initial conditions evaluating the probability of occurrence in the system trying to predict possible results
