Programming Languages
HIGH LEVEL
- It isn`t a language limited by the computer, designed for an specific job and easy to understand because is similar to human language. For a computer to understand and run a program created with a high-level language, it must be compiled into machine language
- JAVA
- Computer programming language that enables programmers to write computer instructions using English-based commands instead of writing numeric codes.
- PYTHON
- Object-oriented high level programming language with dynamic semantics. Useful for scripting or glue language to connect components.
- COMPILATION
- Process that the computer takes to covert a high level programming language into a machine language that the computer can understand. The software which performs this conversion is called a compiler
- JAVA
- It isn`t a language limited by the computer, designed for an specific job and easy to understand because is similar to human language. For a computer to understand and run a program created with a high-level language, it must be compiled into machine language
What is it?
- Artificial language used to write instructions that can be transalated into machine language and then executed by a computer designed
MACHINE CODE
- Is a collection of binary digits or bits that the computer reads and interprets. It is the only language a computer can understand. It also can differ by the operating system in the computer.
LOW LEVEL
- It provides little or no abstraction of programming concepts and is very close to writing actual machine instructions. It is useful because written in them can be crafted to run very fast and with a very minimal memory footprint
STRUCTURED PROGRAMMING
- Subset of procedural programming that enforces a logical structure on the program being written to make it more efficient and easier to understand and modify. Languages as Pascal, Ada, and dBase are designed with features that encourage or enforce a logical program structure
PROCEDURAL LANGUAGES
- Computer programming language that follows, in order, a set of commands. It has a systematic order of statements, functions and commands to complete a computational task or program
CODING
- Computer language used to develop apps, websites and software. Without it, we`d have none of the major technology of now a days
- ALGORITHM
- Is a step by step method of solving a problem. is commonly used for data processing, manipulate it in various ways, such as as inserting a new data item, searching for a particular item or sorting an item.
PROGRAM
- Put into a storage area accesible to the computer. it relieves an instruction and performs it and then receives the next one. The storage area can contain the data that the instruction operates on.
- EXECUTION
- Process by which the computer executes the instructions of a program. Each instruction is a description of an specific action to be carried outing order to solve a problem.
- VARIABLES
- is a value that can change, depending on conditions or on information passed to the program. Provide a labeling data with a descriptive name, this can help to understand better the program.
- DEBUGGING
- Porches of identifying and removing possible errors or mistakes in the code (bugs). It can behave unexpectedly or crash
SYNTAX
- The grammatical structure of sentences. Th format in which words and phrases are arranged to create sentences
C++
- Considered as an intermediate level language, as it encapsulates both high and low level languages features. Originally it was called "c with classes"as it had all the properties of the C languages with an additional concept of classes
PSEUDOCODE
- Detailed description of what a computer program or algorithm must do, expressed in a formal and natural language instead of a programming language.
