  1. Data Types in VBA: There are 12 different types of data with which you can work. For example by declaring a variable in VBA just add a line of code to define the nature of the values that we store in it.

    • All values that need to be handled in a program can be temporarily stored in a variable, the variables are that must belong to a type of data.
    • Boleean: Has only two states, True and False. These variables are generally used as flags or conditional.
    • Byte: 8-bit variable can store values from 0 to 255. It is very useful for storing binary data.
    • Double: 64-bit floating point used when high accuracy is needed.
      • These variables can vary from1.79769313486232E308 to -4,94065645841247E-324 for negative values
        • 1.79769313486232E308 4,94065645841247E-324 for positive value
    • Integer: 16 bit number which can range from -32768 to 32767.
      • whole must be used when working with values that can not contain fractional numbers.
    • Long: 32-bit number that can vary between 2147483648 and 2,147,483,647.
      • The Long variables can only contain integer values.
    • Decimal: Is a subtype of Variant, you can store values in a range from -79,228,162,514,264,337,593,543,950,335 up 79,228,162,514,264,337,593,543,950,335.
      • if the value does not contain decimal places. It has an accuracy of up to 28 decimal values from - 7.9228162514264337593543950335 to 7.9228162514264337593543950335.
    • Single: 32 bit number ranging from-3.402823E38 to -1.401298 E-45.
      • For negative values and from 1.401298E-45 3.402823E38 for positive values. When fractional numbers are needed within this range, this is the type suitable for use.
    • String: Used as a type for a long text string. A variable length string can contain up to about 2 billion characters. Each character has a value ranging from 0 to 255 based on the ASCII character set.
    • Currency: Is an integer type internally. In use, it is scaled by a factor of 10,000 to add four digits to the right of the decimal point. .
      • Currency allows up to 15 digits to the left of the decimal point, resulting in a range of about -922,337,000,000,000 to +922,337,000,000,000.
    • Date: The Date stores a numerical value specially formatted representing both the date and the time.
      • Date accepts the date or time, or both. Possible values range from 1 January of the year 100 at December 31, 9999 year
    • Object: Can point to any data type, including any object instance that the application recognizes. Object is used when at compile time is not known what type of data can indicate the variable.
    • Variant: The Variant stored numeric and non-numeric values. They are the most flexible of all available types because it stores very large values of almost any type.
      • It is used only when it is not sure what kind or when external data are accommodating and not sure of data type specifications
  2. Form: it is the graphic interface of your application, on which you can add the controls that your program needs. We can open as many windows as we want in our project, but the name of each of them must be different.

  3. Toolbar: It is a control panel with certain functions each of these
