1. Maintaining your Notebook Computer

3. Updating Microsoft Windows

   • Running Widows : we are looking for windows update then we look for the updates that are available for our computer, we install the updates, Windows will now download and install all the necessary updates for your computer. After you have installed all the updates, perform a Windows update every 2 to 3 weeks

4. Maintaining the Hard Drive Disk Cleanup

   • Disk Defragmenter
     • It is used to organize files and optimize the free space on the hard drive, improves the performance and speed of the computer. To run the Disk Defragmenter, click on Start, All programs, Accessories, System tools, Disk Defragmenter. It is recommended to run this process at least once a month
   • Disk cleanup: we start deleting the files that we do not use, we clean the hard disk on a regular basis which helps to improve the performance of the system. To enter this utility: start, all programs, system tools, disk, clean .

5. Maintaining the Battery

   • * Unload the battery: use the battery until the low battery warning appears. * Charge the battery: use the AC adapter until the battery is fully charged. So Immediately disconnect the AC adapter from the laptop. The above procedure ensures both maximum performance and long battery life.
