Occur when the sun, the moon and the Earth are aligned. They can be lunar o solar.
- Lunar eclipse: occurs when the Earth passes between the moon and the sun.
- Solar eclipse: occurs when the moon is between the erath and the sun
- Solar eclipses can be: total, partial or anular
- Total: the moon blocks out the sun entirely
- Partial: the moon blocks out just a portion of the sun
- Anular: the moon doesn´t cover the sun completely and leaves an outher ring of light
- Solar eclipses can be: total, partial or anular
