1. STEP 1 - The capture of the measures of the variable of which the study is going to be done

   • 10 measures by 3 operators

2. STEP 2 - Calculate the average of the ranges by operator and the average of all measurements made by the same operator

3. STEP 3 - Calculate the upper limit of the rank chart

4. STEP 4 - Calculate the variation expanded team (VE)

   • Determine the expanded variation of the operator (VO)

5. STEP 5 - Calculate the variation combined or measurement error expanded (EM) due to the repeatability and reproducibility.

6. STEP 6 - Calculation of the interval of 99% confidence for the value of the measured variable

   • Calculate the index precision / tolerance (P/T)
     • Calculate the index accuracy / total variation (MS / Var total)
       • Calculate the number of different categories or distinguishable (Nc)
