1. WHAT IS TECHNOLOGY?

   • Is the practical aplication of knowledge and skills to create a solution
     • WHAT IS TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESS?
       • Consists of a series of stages that lead to the efficent solution to a problem or need

2. FACTORS IN THE TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESS

   • When a solution has been found it converted into a technique.This is the baseof the technological evolution
     • 1) Knowledge of physical and scientific conceots
       • 2)Technological drawing
         • 3)Knowledge of materials and their properties
           • 4)Development of work techniques
             • 5)Economic factors
               • 6)Information technology

3. CLASSROOM WORKSHOP

   • There are different posts
     • The coordinator agree and cordinate all the resources, archieve an efficent goup and speak on behalf of the group
       • The materials officer find and collected the material needed finally recycle material that you don´t use
         • Tools officer make sure the tools and too look after the tools
           • The secretary coolect check and organise the documents
             • Health and safety officer make sure all clasroom workshop rules are followed and all machines safely
               • The cleaning officer make sure that all members leave their workspace in a cleanand orderly manner

4. HYGIENE AND SAFETY RULES

   • You must be carefull because the tools can cause serius injuries
     • HYGIENE: is the part of medicine that deals with staying healthy and preventing illneses
       • SAFETY:is the prevention of and personal protection from riskwhen you doan activity, in the classroom workshop there are tools and machines but you must beangerpus if you don´t use it correctly

5. SIGNS

   • Mandatory signs show you must wear special protective gear to privide accidents thisis outside and the lines of the pictures white and inside is blue
     • Warning signs :possible dangers of working with tools or certain substance, this is outside black the picture also black and inside yellow
       • Prohibition signs: prohibit certainactions is red outside , inside is white but the picture is black
         • Emergency signs:help abaut emergency quipment and exits outside and the picture is white and inside green

6. TECHNOLOGY AND THE ENVIROMNT:

   • Technologyhelps us to solve problems but sometimeinventions harm the enviroment
     • approach and analysis of the need or problem are we going inflcenced by other people?
       • Evaluation and testing the product.What is more important?
         • Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present so that generations will be able to meet their neds

     • Plastic is form by oil coal, natural gas...pipes packaging containers covered by cables
       • Metal and alloy this fromminerals in rocks piece of machinery tools and electic components
     • Textiles get this formvegetable, mineral , raw materials ..With this you can do different clothes...
       • Stone with this forms of rocks frome blocks of sand.You can construct or decorate a lot of things with stone
         • With ceramic you can do clay or cooking it.You also can construc materials
