Natural Resources
Type of natural resources
- There are two types of resources on earth, renewable and non-renewable.
- Renewable resources
- Plants,They are a renewable natural resource because they can drop their own seeds to create more plants.
- Animals, They are a renewable resource because they can reproduce continuously.
- Non - Renewable
- Minerals, are not renewable because the Earth contains fixed quantities of all of them, and they can run out at any time.
- Soils, is a finite resource, which implies that its loss and degradation are not reversible in the course of a human lifetime.
- Fossil Fuels, fossil fuels are non-renewable because they are not replenished by biological processes and are exhaustible.
- Renewable resources
- There are two types of resources on earth, renewable and non-renewable.
Problems with natural resources
- In the world there are several accidents with natural resources
- H2O can cause some problems or natural disasters such as tsunamis.
- Fossil fuels are very harmful to the environment, increasing the greenhouse effect and acid rain.
- Mining can cause destruction of the earth's crust, contamination of the water
- One problem that can be caused by soils is earthquakes.
- Plants are a resource that does not cause any problems to the environment.
- In the world there are several accidents with natural resources
What is a natural resource?
- A natural resource is any product of nature that serves to meet the biological needs of human beings.
- H2O,the most important natural resource and the basis of all life forms.
- Minerals, are elements found in the subsoil of the earth.
- Fossil fuels, is that which comes from the biomass of past eras, which has undergone transformation processes.
- Plants are living and self-sufficient beings, they can feed themselves and grow on their own.
- They are a natural resource because they can reproduce with each other and last for several years.
- A natural resource is any product of nature that serves to meet the biological needs of human beings.
Resource recovery
- Resource recovery is the separation of certain materials from the waste we produce to use them again or turn them into new raw materials for use again.
- The use of fossil fuels in the United States was reduced thanks to energy efficiency measures and the increased use of biomass.
- Another form of resource recovery is using composting, which is obtained from organic materials.
- Another form of resource recovery is the recycling of certain products into new products.
- resource recovery is the reuse that allows the reuse of discarded goods or products.
- To reduce is to spend fewer resources and purchase fewer products, thus minimizing the energy expenditure of production and the pollution they generate.
- Resource recovery is the separation of certain materials from the waste we produce to use them again or turn them into new raw materials for use again.
