2. LONG-TERM MEMORY (Where we hold all our memories)

   • "It's relative permanent
   • Retrieve Information Regularly

3. WORKING MEMORY (where memory work happens)

   • Duration (5-20 seg)
   • Holds only 4 things at a time

4. HOW PEOPLE LEARN?

   • ATTENTION
     • Distractions: Text messages, Notifications, Daydreaming, etc.
   • ENCODING
     • Information and processes are repeated
     • The information is assembled, structured and repeated
     • Connect new info to knowledge
   • RETRIEVAL
     • Take information out of long-term memory and into our conscious workin memory
