NON RENAWABLE ENERGY
- CRUDE OIL
- it is a mixture of hydrocarbons fron the simplest ( CH4 , mechane ) to complex species wich 40 carbons atoms
- It is commonly found enclosed in the interstices between the grains of sand that form the rocks called "sandstones", which can be of marine, fluvial, glacial or lacustrine origin.
- Special products: lubricants, paraffins, asphalt, vehicle greases and products for industrial use. Raw materials for the basic petrochemical industry: plastics, acrylics, gloves, paints, various packaging, detergents, textile fibers, insecticides, etc.
- NATURAL GAS
- Natural gas is a mixture of gases, among which methane is found in a greater proportion. The proportion in which this compound is found is 75% to 95% of the total volume of the mixture.
- Dry natural gas (methane and ethane) that is transported by gas pipelines to consumption centers. Natural gas liquids (propane, butane, pentane and heavier) that are transported to a fractionation plant to obtain individual products
- What is natural gas? Natural gas is a mixture of light gases that is mostly composed of methane and ethane, and to a lesser extent propane, butanes, pentanes and heavier hydrocarbons.
- COAL
- Charcoal originates from the decomposition of terrestrial plants, leaves, wood, bark and spores that accumulate in swampy, lagoonal or shallow marine areas, in a process that takes several million years.
- Coal has many uses around the world. Its most important uses are electricity generation, steel production, cement manufacturing and liquid fuel production.
- Coal is a fossil fuel, the final result of a series of transformations on plant remains accumulated in swampy places, lagoons and river deltas, mainly during the carboniferous period of the primary era
- NUCLEAR POWER
- Nuclear energy is a form of energy that is released from the nucleus or central part of atoms, which consists of protons and neutrons. This source eneofrgy can be produced in two ways: through fission (when the nuclei of atoms split into several parts) or through fusion (when they fuse).
- Nuclear energy is the energy released as a result of the reaction that occurs when heavy atomic nuclei split. This is also called Nuclear Fission.
- How is nuclear energy generated? Use nuclear fission—that is, the enormous amount of energy caused by the chain reaction in which the nucleus of a heavy atom, uranium or plutonium, splits into two or more nuclei of lighter atoms—to generate electricity

RENEWABLE ENERGY
- SOLAR POWER
- These technology transforms ultraviolet sunlight into electricity by using two semiconductor materials. When the photon (light contain photons) hit one semiconductor, the electrons jump to the other semiconducto. These movement produce electricity.
- These technology transforms ultraviolet sunlight into electricity by using two semiconductor materials.
- Solar energy is energy obtained from the sun in the form of electromagnetic radiation (light, heat and ultraviolet rays). By installing solar panels or collectors, it can be used to obtain thermal energy (photothermal system) or to generate electricity (photovoltaic system).
- HYDRO ELECTRIC DAMS
- With more than 120 hydroelectric plants in operation and almost 10,823 MW of installed power, we supply clean and renewable hydroelectric energy to some 7.6 million homes in the country thanks to this technology.
- they dont polluete they dont produce CO2
- the construction movies a loft of rock and needs a lot of concrete
- WIND POWER
- Wind energy is a form of renewable energy that is obtained by harnessing the power of the wind to generate electricity. This energy has been used for thousands of years to drive the first sailing ships or move the propellers of windmills.
- Wind energy is a renewable energy source, it does not pollute, is inexhaustible and reduces the use of fossil fuels, the source of greenhouse emissions that cause global warming.
- On land, wind energy has been used in windmills to grind wheat or to pump water from wells. At sea, on the other hand, the wind has allowed the sails to be deployed, providing humans with the opportunity to explore the planet aboard a boat.
