PROJECT PLANNING

  1. 1. TIME PLANNING

    • PERT: A technique used to analyze and represent task.
      • Network Diagram
      • CPM (Critical Path Method): Shows the path that the project must follow
        • PDM (Precedence Diagramming Method): A scheduling tool that uses nodes to show the dependencies that precede activities.
          • GERT: A procedure for studying stochastic networks of nodes or vertices.
    • Gantt Chart
      • Allows a project to be planned and scheduled through a graphical representation of the tasks that make up the project, as well as their time, duration, and required resources.
  2. 2. COST PLANNING

    • TIPS OF RECOURS
      • Human Resources: People who belong to the company or are hired to carry out a task.
        • Material Resources: Equipment related to machines, tools, facilities, and raw materials, such as finished or semi-finished materials.
          • Financial Resources: The money required to cover all costs associated with project execution.
  3. 3. QUALITY PLANNING

    • Quality Plan: Guides the execution of a project until its objective is achieved, complying with the guidelines established for each task or action included in the plan. In other words, it includes the tasks necessary to achieve the project objective.
    • Quality Planning: Quality must be planned for the project tasks, considering all control activities that allow the products resulting from the different tasks to be considered of quality.
  4. 4. RISK PLANNING

    • ELEMENTS TO CONSIDER
      • Identification: Obtaining all available information about the project and the specific tasks in order to gain experience
      • Qualification and Quantification: Estimating the probability of risk occurrence and determining its level in order to prioritize risks appropriately
      • Response Planning: Planning a preventive or corrective response for each risk.
  5. 5. INTEGRATION PLANNING

    • SECTIONS, CONSOLIDATE DOCUMENT AND ITS IMPORTANCE
      • Scope, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Schedule, Budget, Quality Plan and Risk Plan.
        • Integration planning is important because it consolidates the different project components into a single Project Plan.
