   • It aims to look at reality systems the same structures

   • Set of elements that functions as a whole
   • No subsystem is completely independent.

   • A.-Systems exist within systems.
   • B.-The systems are open.

4. Levels

   • System: coherent whole, for example a family
   • Suprasystem: medium surrounding the system; friends, neighbors, extended family ...
   • Subsystems: system components; individuals.

   • Ludwig von Bertalanffy
     • He was the one who is responsible for introducing this concept in the mid-twentieth century.
     • Understands science as a subsystem of the conceptual system,
     • He also published the individual growth model

     • Was widely influential in Cibernetics, System Theory, and complex systems
