1. LUDWIG VON BERTALANFFY
  1. Born in September 19th, 1901, in Atzgersdorf, Austria
  2. He was a Biologist and a Philospher
  3. He wrote the most famous book on the General Systems Theory
  4. He published The individual growth model
  5. In 1936 he developed the GST, to solve the problem arround 3 elements
    1. A system
    2. A Boundary arround the System
    3. Surroundings
  6. He died in 1972, in Buffalo, New York
2. ROSS ASHBY
  1. Born in September 6th, 1903 in London, England
  2. Doctor and Neurologist
  3. In 1955 the GST was further developed by Ashby
  4. President for the Society of General Systems from 1962- 1964
  5. He was widely influential in Cybernetics, Systems Theory and Complex Systems
  6. Died in 1972
