1. USE

   • It is used to speak of a concrete action that began and ended in the past
     • The past is used for a series of actions in the past.
       • We also use it for repeated actions of the usual ones in the past, as the imperfect Spanish time is used.
         • It is used to speak of generalities or facts of the past.

2. STRUCTURE

   • POSITIVE
     • SUBJECT + VERB (IN PASS) + COMPLEMENT E/P
     • NEGATIVE
       • SUBJECT + DID + NOT + VERB (IN INFINITIVE) + COMPLEMENT E/P
       • INTERROGATIVE
         • DID + SUBJECT + VERB (IN INFINITIVE) + COMPLEMENT E/P +?

3. Examples

   • My family and I traveled to the beach last week
     • I did not have fun on the trip to Mexico last year
       • Did you aprove the exam of english ?
