1. Password

   • you should have at least 8 characters.
   • numbers, letters and symbols should be in your password
   • there should be no rythem or pattern like 2624
   • longer the password longer it takes to hack.

2. Anti-virus

   • it needs to be up to dated often to make sure it can cope with the newest hackers and scripts .
   • you need to control witch programs can be send and receive data packets because you device might be spammed with any type of virus.
   • if schools dont have anti virus the computers will be hacked and our personal data will be found

3. Encryption

   • Encryption scrambles information.
   • You decrypt a message by using a key.
   • You encrypt using a cipher.
   • you encrypt something if you don't want anyone to find out the information.
   • You can tell if a website is using encryption if it has the padlock by the search bar.

4. firewall

   • Prevents harmfull data entering your PC.
