                                                    1. Evil caused by nature e.g. earthquakes, tornadoes, huracanes
                                                    2. Some peoples argument that God does not exist is in the form of the inconsistent triad.
                                                      1. God cannot exist because if he is all loving and powerful then he can't be all knowing or else evil would not exist.
                                                        1. God cannot exist because if he is all knowing and loving then he can't be all powerful or else evil would not exist.
                                                          1. God cannot exist because if he is all knowing and powerful then he can't be all loving or else evil would not exist.
                                                            1. God cannot exist because if he is all loving, powerful and knowing then evil would not exist because God would stop it.
                                                          2. Solutions to the problem of evil
                                                            1. Pain is a test of faith in God. In the Old Testament, there is the example of Job. Job's killed, his wealth lost, his animals and servants killed or stolen. Job is a good person, this happened to test his faith.
                                                              1. The free will argument is that God's creation of people with free will is something of great value, and if God got rid of evil then people would not have free will, or be able to make moral choices
                                                                1. All humans are made imperfect and as they grow they need to learn how to be could and have a good soul. Pain is education and to become a True good person you must use suffering to learn, right from wrong, to make them stronger.
                                                                  1. Christians believe that one practical response to evil and suffering is prayer. They may prey to end suffering; strength for people coping with suffering. These prayers are called intercessions. Asking for something on behalf of someone else.
                                                                    1. God creats suffering so people can learn from their mistakes. "Before you punished me, I used to go wrong," God helps you choose the right path but if you go the wrong way there is punishment.
                                                                      1. Christians may believe that suffering gives an opportunity to show compassion to others and to act charitably. Christians may take time to help the suffering and alleviate the suffering in the world
