Cellular Respiration
  1. Fermentaion
    1. Lactic Acid Fermentation: Reduction of Pyruvate into Lactic Acid
      1. Alcohol Fermentation: Reduction of Pyruvate to Ethyl Alcohol
      2. Stages of Cellular Respiration
        1. Glycolysis: Glucose is turned into 2 pyruvate and turns 2 NAD+ into 2 NADH. It also has a net gain of 2 ATP
          1. Pre Krebs: Oxidises Pyruvate and turns it into Acetyl CoA
            1. Acetyl CoA: Compound used in Citric Acid Cycle
            2. Krebs Cycle: Creates FADH and NADH and releases CO2. Also creates 2 ATP
              1. OxidativePhosphorylation: Contains ETC and Chemiosmosis
                1. Electron Transport Chain: Electron carrying proteins that oxidise and reduce NADH and FADH to create H+ in the intermembrane
                  1. Chemiosmosis: Due to concentration gradient of H+ ions, the ATP synthase sucks them in and uses that energy to turn ADP+P into ATP, usually creates around 34 ATP
                2. Redox: Leo the Lion says GER
                  1. Loss of electrons is known as Oxidatoin
                    1. Gain of Electrons is Reduction
