2. Ubiquitous access is when cloud storage is widely accessible, which means you can access it on any device, location or format.

3. Resource pooling is an IT term used in cloud computing environments to describe a situation in which providers serve multiple clients, customers or "tenants" with provisional and scalable services.

Rapid deployment is when you rapidly deploy a new IT infrastructure or software to suit a client's needs, in a period of couple weeks or months, whether they need a new one in a foreign country or their extending their server count. Businesses need this to have the most up to date software, so they can compete with competitors.

5. On-demand self-service is when resources are on demand for you to be used when required. In on-demand self-service, the user accesses cloud services through an online control panel.

6. Pay-as-you-grow is when you pay for more cloud storage as the amount of data you have stored becomes to increase.

7. Automation is the creation of technology to control and monitor the production and delivery of goods. The machines invented perform tasks humans once performed.
