     • very small businesses would use flat databases such as people who make cakes , and sells them to friends and family.

     • flat databases use a lot of memory , you are more likely to make mistakes using this database its one table including all of the information , they tend to repeat a lot of information
     • relational databases take away the repeated data which makes it work faster , it doesn't use as much memory , you are less likely to make mistakes however it is still one table including all of the information.
