Best Practices for Online Teaching

Follow established course start and end dates.
Monitor assignment submissions and remind students of missed or upcoming deadlines
Establish early in the course a regular schedule of when you will be available online
Give prior notice to the students and administration if you are unable to access the course for a period of time.
Provide student feedback to inquiries within one business day
Provide clear, concise and meaningful feedback
Communicate when you will grade and return assignments

Have access to all software and technology that is required for the students in the course
