SORTING ALGORITHMS

  1. A bubble sort is the least efficient type of sorting algorithm. you have to go through each value swapping the ones each time that are not in order. The bubble sort is not suited to long lists.

  2. The merge sort is the most efficient type of sorting algorithm but it takes up a lot of memory. You have to split the values in half and then split them again into individual lists. Then you join them back up again into an ordered list.

    • 2794576965 - 27945 76965 - 27 94 5 76 96 5 - 2 7 9 4 5 7 6 9 6 5 - 27 49 5 67 69 5 - 24579 56679 - 2455667799
  3. Insertion sort is a relatively efficient sorting algorithm but takes up a bit of memory. You take the first value and put it into a new list. Then take the second one and put it onto the same list in order. Repeat until finished.
