1. MOBILE OPERATING SYSTEM

   • A mobile operating system (OS) is a set of data and programs that runs applications on a mobile device, such as a phone, a smartwatch or a tablet. Most MOS are not interchangable among devices.

2. PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE

   • A programming language is a computer language programmers use to develop softwares, applications, or other sets of instructions for computers to execute tasks.
   • There are many programming languages, but each one has its own rules, syntax, and structure. Some examples are C, Python, Java or Ruby.

4. PROGRAM

   • On the other hand, as a noun it is known to be a software that runs from a computer´s operating system. Programs are often called applications, and some examples are web browsers, system utilities or video games.
   • The word program as an action is the verb of programming.

5. APP

   • "App" is short for "application", which is a software that can be installed to a computer or mobile. Apps are programmed to performs an specific task (or more than one).

6. PROGRAMMING AND CODING

   • Programming or coding is the process of writting an algorithm and encoding it in a programming language to create a program or an app.

7. INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT (IDE)

   • An Integrated Development Environment (IDE) is a user interface-based workbench that helps a developer when building software apps.
   • IDEs increase programmer productivity by offering help to quickly execute actions without switching to other applications and reduces the time taken to learn the language. Some uses of IDEs are editing source code, building executables, and debugging.

8. GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE (GUI)

   • A Graphical User Interface (GUI) is group of interactive components that makes a software more "user-friendly" by using windows, icons and other graphical objects that help a user interact with computer software, such as an operating system.
