Object & Classes
Object: They are everywhere, living, and otherwise: concrete and abstract
- Attributes are called fields and actions are called methods
- Fields and methods are optional, some have none and some have both
- Methods require the data to function
- Attributes are called fields and actions are called methods
Classes: A class is a blue print or a template to create objects of identical type.
- If you have an employee class, you can create employee objects
- Classes are OOP tools that enable programmers to create the abstraction of a problem
- 3 things to consider: class name, the fields, and the methods
- Syntax for class: Class className [class body]
OOP: object - oriented programming
