1. social challenges

   • One of the social challengies is that this event is a formal evening so my client can't wear anything revealing or with patterns
   • If I decide that I want to include fur it will have to be faux fur as society is against using real fur as am I.
   • Need to look where the materials are coming from and if there is child labour or unfair wages going on.
   • After the use of my dress as it will be seen at the oscars I could sell the dress and give the money to a charity.

2. Colours

   • Due to the fact that nature is made up of all colours I could use a range of bright colours. Using these bright clours wold make my client stand out
   • I could also use an ombre effect like a sunset or sun rise

3. Econimical challenges

   • As my client is young the budget can' be huge as thy wont have a lot of money
   • This means that I need to spend wisely and waste ittle material
   • Due to my budget I need to think of creative ways to save money like repurposing existing products

4. environment

   • Fabrics
     • recycled materials
       • This reduces landfill waste and the amount of raw materials for new clothing. Also there is less waste when manufacturing. This reduces clothing scrapes that end up in landfill.
       • Reusing these fabrics means that the environmental effects are that there is less pesticides used when cotton is being grown or water needed to dye the fabrics. This also cuts down pollutants and greenhouse gases.
       • The economical side that is a lower cost and also provides jobs for people.
     • Bamboo
       • Bamboo saves water as it can grow with little water. Aso it has no natural pests so therefore you dony need to use any pesticides. Bamboo takes in more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and produce more oxygen tahn trees.
       • From an economical piont of view bamboo grows quickerly and grows a foot long so it can be mass produced with no detremental effect on the environment.
       • For the comfort of my client bamboo is very insulating as it keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It is also one of the softest fabrics in the world and it causes no allergic reaction.
     • Raw fabrics
       • Raw material is biodegradeable and warm. Also it is soft, wicks away moisture and is breathable
       • Raw materials are sustainable because it comes from something that can be replaced,raised and regrown
   • I could disassemble and recycle the components and the material. I could reuse the gems and use it to make accessories such as bags or purses.
   • Trimmings
     • Any buttons I use should be non- plastic or if are plastic then ned to be recycleable
     • If I decide to disassemble my dress i will try to reuse ant zips and ribbon that Iuse
